Paul Saunders Roofing Company carries out about 500 roof inspections a year for both real estate agents and homeowners, in the process of selling, buying, or maintaining homes and commercial buildings.

Roof Leaks

No job is too small! We handle roof leaks from $125.00 on up, and have several products that we can apply to a roof even while it is raining. We understand the high cost of damage to ceilings and the interior of your home and, therefore, make every effort to stop leaking roof situations as soon as possible.

We install new roofs on almost all roof situations. We will provide a written estimate detailing the work we propose to carry out for you. About Paul Saunders Roofing Company

In 1943, Paul Saunders arrived in Richmond from the mountains of Franklin, North Carolina. He began roofing with his brother, Frank Saunders, who had a roofing company in Richmond. Paul continued roofing under his own name for 50 years, until his death in 1982 while working on a roof at the age of 81. Paul was known for his skill working with slate and tin. Business was generally located in the West End and Fan districts of Richmond. His love of roofing, craftsmanship and a job well done were among the reasons the present company continued to exist under his name.

Graham B. Aston, Paul Saunders' son-in-law, presently owns the company. Twenty-three employees currently work for Paul Saunders Roofing Company. These men and women handle the management, sales and office and field duties. Although most of the company's work is centered in Richmond, Paul Saunders Roofing Company does travel to surrounding communities such as Charlottesville, Fredericksburg as well as Petersburg to handle roofing projects.

Graham B. Aston moved from England in 1982 to work with Paul and take over management of the company. In the years that the company has been under Graham's administration, it has grown substantially and is now a successful, growing roofing company.
