Upon arriving at Kobe noticed a foul sewage odor as we entered the front door. Then we had to wait seven minutes for the host who was wearing a dirty stained white T, to tell us to walk down the stairs to the hibachi portion of the restaraunt grab our own menus, seat ourselves, and wait for a server. Who then showed up after 15 min and took another 10 with the drinks. After a total of an hour the chef finally wheeled his ragged squeeky cart to my table. He was very rude and unaccomidating. He burnt the rice, threw egg on my new shirt, and overcooked my med-rare steak by a long shot and my date's salmon was bad. Not only did it taste awful but as a culinary proffessional I would say it was old. I was ready to end this experience but i decided to contact the manager before. The manager refused to apologize and was very condisending and rude. He did offer 10% off. I laughed paid full price and left never more dissatisfied in my life.
