Everything top notch except haircut

Awesome place to feel pampered. I have been in spas all around the world and can say this one is high on my list as attentive and pampering. With the exception of the hair cut staff; all staff members are extremely professional, attentive and knowledgeable. I have had massage, facial, make-up, waxing and (1) hair cut at Red Door. All (w/ exception to haircut) will bring me back quite often. Some people say it is expensive, I say not hardly for the quality service, treatment and facility it is well priced.

From what I hear, The Red Door is under new management and boy is it better than ever! When you walk into this spa you can just feel the stress melting away. The front desk people have smiling faces, the music is enchanting, and the services are top notch! This is a place where you are not just a customer or a client, you are a GUEST. I am a mom of two, so being able to pamper myself is rare. I've been to spas in the Richmond area before, and I used to think I was getting the best, until I visited the Red Door at Short Pump mall for the first time. The atmosphere is beautiful and almost intimidating, but when I was greated by the front desk reps I felt more comfortable. I had a gift certificate for a facial and massage, and both were fantastic! Like I said, I thought I had been having the best, but this is my new spa I will frequently visit. I noticed they had a nail area too, so next time I am going for a manicure and I'm sure I'll be blown away by that, can't wait!

I made the appointment online, it was so easy! When I arrived the setting of the spa was luxury wrapped in class, smothered in relaxation! I went for a massage, my regular massage therapist moved, and I was in the market for someone who could do as well or better. I decided to try the Signature Massage, since it is their signature, I thought it should be the best. I was more than pleased, the therapist was professional, neatly dressed and had the hands of an angel!! It was like she knew exactly where my problem areas were. Without me having to ask she worked them gently so I felt comfortable and relaxed. The massage wasn't a deep massage, but I will definately go back for my monthly deeper massages that I am used to getting. All of the employees were very helpful, professional and on time with smiles on their faces. I am so very impressed I wont need to try another spa in town!
