Richmond is an awesome city for historic renovators. And Caravati's is a best-kept secret place to find all the treasures you might need to outfit a perfect old Richmond home. It's also a great resource for architectural details to artfully incorporate into the interior decor of a new home too. There's nowhere else like it that I can imagine! Everything from cornices to clawfoot tubs and more you can't imagine.

Have you ever seen a historic building torn down and thought, "I wonder what they did with all the lovely things in there... " -- Well I know the answer! Caravati's goes into our historic homes before they're torn down and collects anything of use -- radiators, tubs, chandelliers, doors, windows, stained glass, fixtures, and yes, even kitchen sinks -- If you love antiques or are looking to replace something in your home in a way that it looks like it belongs this is a great place to go -- things are usually cheaper than they would be new and they have SO much more personality!
