The Hollywood Cemetery is a beautiful, historic burial ground that holds the graves of Presidents James Monroe and John Tyler plus many more important figures from the period of the American Civil War, including Jefferson Davis. During the summer months, the cemetery offers a guided walking tour of the sites, where visitors can get a more in-depth story behind some of the gravestones and learn about some of the cemetery's most notable inhabitants. Located off the north end of the Robert E. Lee Bridge, just a short drive from most of Richmond's suburbs, it is close to historic Maymont and Richmond National Battlefield Park.
